I recently started watching my friends little guy, Wes. He is such a cutie:)

Our family is soaking him up! As you can imagine we have been craving little newborn love for quite some time.

Brennan absolutely adores him:)

Mother Nature at it's finest again:) My mother in law got me this bird feeder for Christmas. We set it up recently and have really enjoyed watching the birds that inhabit our property.

Love love love Cardinal Birds and Blue Jays-and they frequent our yard quite often.

Blooming

I noticed these buds on our Magnolia Tree that some friends of mine had planted for us in memory of Reese and Scotlyn. When I saw them, my heart sank. It's hard to describe, but it was just a feeling of their presence, a beautiful feeling of course.

After all of the frigid weather we've had recently I was really worried they wouldn't last. I was so glad to see my girlies' buds shining through after all of the snow melted. I am really looking forward to seeing it in full bloom! Thank you Circle of Friends ladies for brightening up my spring:)

Indoor Fun

Friday Brennan was off school for Spring Break and we were reminded by a friend about The World Class Gym.

We used to go all the time when Brennan was younger. We (or maybe I) got kind of burnt out and we didn't go for a while and now Brennan has class on both days it's offered.

It is a lot of fun to go there now. It's a big gym with open play and the kids can do all sorts of different things.

It definitely keeps Brennan busy! Can't go wrong with dancing and bubbles!

This giant trampoline is a big hit too:)

Winter Wonderland...

It' s officially spring here, but apparently Mother Nature hasn't gotten the memo.

We recently had an 80 degree, sunny day followed by a 40 degree bitterly cold and windy day. Then the weather just kept getting colder and windier and icey and snowy...

I do wish everything was green and I could continue to see my flowers blooming, but you have to admit, it is beautiful:)

Obviously Brennan doesn't mind one bit that it is snowing in March!

Choo Choo!

Brennan loves playing with trains! He has a few different kinds. This one is one that we only get out at Christmas time. It's a classic and my grandparents get all of the grandchildren one of these sets. Then they get additional cars to go with them at subsequent holidays.

Then he has his Thomas trains.

He watches Thomas and plays with his toy trains.

He uses this little piece from his Zu Zu pet (Scootles) play house for a tunnel for his trains-so creative:)

He got this one from maw maw and paw paw a couple of Christmas's ago and he loves it too.

Yesterday I went to a thrift store (love them!). I haven't gone in a while and I'm so glad I stopped. I got this set of Mickey characters riding on trains for $1. Can't beat that!

Brennan loves them, he thanked me all day long:)

Of course when he got them he wanted to watch Mickey's Choo Choo Express show while he played with them:)

Disney on Ice:)

On St Patrick's Day we went to Disney on Ice with some of our friends. Brennan loved it!

Of course we had to get a souvenir. First, he wanted a plush Minnie and then he wanted a toy Ariel. He ended up choosing this Mickey. He really likes it and plays with it all the time. He is a good tubby toy:)

When we left he said "I had so much fun momma!" Love to hear that:)

Who knew soap could be so much fun?

My mom went to Disney World (jealous!) for work last week and she brought a few things home for Bren. One being a bar of soap from the hotel.

Well, he could not wait to get in the tub to use it!

He apparently thought it was a good idea to rub the soap all over his face .

Since he refuses to smile at the moment, all I got were a combination of silly looks and laughs:)

He was disappointed that I wasn't washing his hair with it...silly boy.

I think there may have been a small amount of soap consumed?:)

Brennan had so much fun flying kites last time that we decided today was a good day to do that again :)

His last kite flying adventure ended with the kite stuck in a tree so Brennan and Casey got a new one at the store today.

Brennan chose batman this time:)

My mom must have had the same idea because she got him an airplane one:) It's quite a bit larger than batman so we are going to make a trip to the park to fly that one.

This little beauty was just dying to join us...

We fed the birds too...because you know they're coming around now that it's getting warmer.

I spotted one perched on the feeder before we put food out with his neck stretched out looking for anything he could find:)

We waited for them...

and watched for them...
